I am a postdoctoral researcher in Bob Shriver's lab in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Science at the University of Nevada Reno. In addition to researching plant populations, I love teaching and thinking about new and better ways to bring experiential learning into the classroom to help students explore their own interests and participate in the scientific process.
When I am not working, I prefer to spend most of my time outside, re-exploring old haunts and discovering new places. When I'm inside, I can usually be found playing the piano, boxing, knitting, sewing, or simply relaxing with my dog Pirate and cats Aiko and Shoyu. |
