I have broad interests in population ecology and conservation. In most of my work, I use a combination of theoretical, observational, and experimental approaches to understand how environmental variation and species interactions affect the way populations change over time, generally working in plant systems. My current research focuses on how environmental variation at different scales affects metapopulation dynamics and range dynamics.
